General Manager - US

Summary

Greeneye is hiring a General Manager to help us manage our entire operation in the US. Our GM will build and manage our US team and will be responsible to expand all aspects of our operations, sales, and marketing activities in the US. You’ll also focus on forming relationships with agribusinesses such as retailers, dealers and manufacturers to educate them on our technology and it’s impacts on the farm’s bottom line and the environment. You will travel up to 50% of the time, depending on the season, to visit growers and potential partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all our US activities
  • Recruit and mange operations and sales/marketing teams
  • Develop and execute a planned approach by creating a sales plan for accounts including large farms, dealers, retailers and manufacturers
  • Identify and consistently engage with early adopter farmers for Greeneye precision spraying system
  • Manage, develop, and foster relationships with retailers, ag chem manufacturers, dealers, equipment manufacturers, cooperatives and independent crop consultants within the region
  • Lead and manage all logistical and technical efforts of field demonstrations
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and maintain a pulse on market trends.
  • Visit manufacturer sites for equipment acceptance tests

Requirements

  • A passion for agriculture, which could include a family farm upbringing and/or a degree in agronomy, crop science, plant science, agribusiness, or other agricultural related study
  • 5+ yrs in management roles in agricultural industry
  • Excellent business judgment, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present a strategy to key stakeholders within an organization
  • Excellent project management, communications, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Location – Iowa / Illinois / Nebraska
  • Willingness to travel frequently

Test Manager - Israel

Summary

We are looking for a talented test manager to join our team. As a test manager you will have end-to-end responsibility of the company’s testing operation. You will work closely with relevant engineering groups to define test protocols, be in charged of test preparation and execution. The role requires frequent travels to the north of Israel and to the US. The position reports directly to COO.

  • Lead and maintain the overall testing program (IL & US)
  • Work closely with R&D teams to prepare test protocols
  • Ensure test readiness

  • Ensure safe execution of experiment
  • Make sure lessons learned from each experiment are implemented

Operation Manager - Nebraska

Summary

We are looking for a talented operation manager to join our team. As an operation manager you will be in charged of setting up our US operation, take care of ongoing logistics, visit and prepare testing sites and operation sites, support our application operation during the season and arrange field days. The role requires great communication skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, ability to travel within the US for periods of several weeks and good understanding of the agricultural world. The position reports directly to COO.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing operation logistics
  • Track, monitor and supervise ongoing daily operations and meeting operational goals
  • Lead testing area preparations pre-season
  • Support ongoing system testing
  • Visit customers pre-season to ensure flawless execution during the season
  • Prepare and manage field days
  • Manage Greeneye’s logistics sites
  • Perform day-to-day operation tasks during the season
  • Build processes and work routines to support the smooth activity of the site.

Requirements

Sprayer Operator - Nebraska

Summary

Greeneye is looking for an experienced sprayer operator capable of operating self-propelled sprayers with boom sizes of up to 36m. The ideal candidate will have experience with several types / brands of sprayers, best practice knowledge on machine handling and spraying practices and good basic mechanical skills. The job requires travel availability for 3-4 weeks periods (pre-season).

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform herbicides applications using Greeneye’s selective spraying system in-season
  • Test Greeneye’s selective spraying system
  • Evaluate system’s operating interface and work with Greeneye’s engineering team to create the best user interface
  • Perform pre-season visits to Greeneye’s clients to ensure flawless execution in-season
  • Train new employees on system operation
  • Attend and operate the sprayer in farm shows and field days

Requirements

  • A passion for agriculture, which could include a family farm upbringing and/or a degree in agronomy, crop science, plant science, or other agricultural related study
  • Commercial pesticide applicator license
  • CDL or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Location – Nebraska
  • Willingness to travel for periods of up to 4 weeks
